CDNR
The Non-Resident Register is required for individuals and legal entities not resident in the country who wish to register transactions involving foreign capital in the BACEN systems, such as RDE-ROF and RDE-Portfolio.
RDE-ROF
It collects information about financial transactions such as financing of goods and services, working capital and loans. It is done after the foreign exchange liquidation in cases of renegotiation by term, rate or values.
RDE-IED
It collects information about investments that Brazilian companies receive from abroad. It must be carried out or updated whenever there is a corporate change within a period of up to 30 days after the fact occurred.
DCBE
The Declaration of Brazilian Capitals Abroad is an ancillary obligation that collects statistical information about the country's foreign assets. It must be completed by the resident of the country holding the foreign assets.
Corporate Update
After the entry of foreign investment resources into the RDE-IED, the update must be made to evidence the participation of the paid-in capital stock and the investment in the respective foreign currency.
Qualification in RADAR
In order to apply for Qualification (limited or unlimited), the applicant must have paid-up capital and available in current assets sufficient to carry out foreign trade transactions.
Certificate approved by INPI
Its main purpose is the protection of industrial property (trademarks and patents). It can be requested by Brazilian companies that need to register their trademark / patent, and ensure the right of exclusive use.
RNE Issuance
The National Registration of Foreigners with the Federal Police is mandatory and carried out by foreigners who arrive in Brazil with a permanent or temporary visa, within 30 days following the date of entry into the country.
Foreign CPF
Issuance of an identification document for the foreign individual to be enrolled, proving nationality, affiliation and date of birth.
CCME
Checking Account in Foreign Currency at a partner financial institution for individuals or legal entities domiciled in the country and legal entities domiciled abroad.
Final Beneficiary
Entities domiciled abroad, registered via Banco Central (BACEN) and holding equity interest (foreign investment) are required to inform their final beneficiaries.
CCMN
Checking Account in National Currency at a partner financial institution for individuals and legal entities domiciled abroad.
CEP
The Census of Foreign Capital in the Country aims to collect information on the country's external liabilities, i.e. foreign direct investments and trade credits (imports and exports), etc.
DEF
Brazilian companies receiving foreign direct investment must update or regularize their corporate structure, data on their net worth, paid-in capital stock, and investor participation.
Structured Transactions
Accounting regularization, corporate structure, indebtedness with suppliers abroad, and purchase of participation of Brazilian companies with no shipping of amounts to the country, named verifications of quotas and shares.
